I still remember the first time I watched The Secret. It wasn’t part of my own spiritual journey or a personal growth event; it was shown during my sales training at America’s First Home, where I had just started working in 2006.
At the time, I was in a good place. I had my massage side hustle going, I was a licensed Real Estate Agent, and I had just stepped into this new role as a new home consultant. Life felt exciting.
Our supervisor wanted us to learn how to visualize success, so there we were, brand new to the job, watching a movie about the Law of Attraction.
A few months later, one of my massage clients handed me the book version of The Secret. It resonated in a way I couldn’t fully explain, something about the idea that the universe works through us, not to us.
Not long after, we bought what we thought was our dream home, a big, beautiful house with a pool, something we had envisioned for years. Looking back now, I can see how alignment played a role in that, even though I didn’t yet understand the full depth of the Law of Attraction.
I had no idea that years later, Mark and I would meet, work with, and even partner with many of the teachers from that film.
Mark:
Renee’s introduction to The Secret might have started as part of her job, but it ended up sparking a path we’d both walk together for decades.
Long before The Secret became a global phenomenon, I had already been listening to Abraham-Hicks recordings for 11 years. My first encounter with their work was in 1995, when I was studying massage therapy at Florida College of Natural Health. A receptionist at my school told me a story about the Law of Attraction and handed me a cassette tape. She said, “Listen with your heart and be conscious of what you choose to manifest.”
That tape changed my life.
Since then, I’ve listened to hundreds of hours of Abraham-Hicks recordings, always struck by how consistent, empowering, and universal their message is: You create your reality. And your vibration is the blueprint.
Renee:
When The Secret exploded into mainstream awareness, it was exciting to see this message finally reach so many people. But for me, it wasn’t just a trendy concept; it had already become part of how I looked at life and what was possible.
Mark:
Over the years, we’ve crossed paths with nearly every prominent figure from The Secret not just on stages, but in real conversations, collaborative projects, and shared missions.
Mike Dooley was the first I met, introduced by Brett King, author of The Real War on America, who was both Mike’s landlord and a client of mine at Brighthouse Networks.
Michael Beckwith welcomed me and three friends for a private gathering after his service at Agape, thanks to our friends Bob and Noel.
I met Loral Langemeier at JVX in 2013 and 2014 and later introduced her to Clint Arthur for a collaboration.
I briefly met John Assaraf at the Unstoppable Conference and now collaborate with him through several clients and our JV Directory.
Marci Shimoff is someone Renee worked closely with while managing Debra Poneman’s business and supporting Your Year of Miracles, which she co-created with Marci before hiring us to relaunch her Yes To Success brand in 2020.
I met Lisa Nichols in 2013 on the dance floor at Ivan Misner’s mansion during her Step Into Your Power fundraiser. She handed me her phone and asked me to take a picture of her and Michael Gerber.
Bob Doyle and I connected through the Unstoppable Mastermind, and he was close with my first coach, Rich German. Renee worked with Bob’s girlfriend to support Debra.
I even had breakfast with Bob Proctor and his team the morning before the Unstoppable mastermind he hosted with Cynthia Kersey in 2013.
Jack Canfield was holding court at the same Unstoppable Gala the night before, and many of our friends are part of his TLC and ATL leadership communities.
And Joe Vitale is part of our JV Directory. He wears jewelry made by our friends, Gail and Gregory Hoag, and has been a longtime friend of our business partner, David Riklan.
It’s amazing to realize how many of these connections were not just “attractions” but activations, collaborative ripple effects of the frequency we’ve chosen to live in.
Renee:
And none of it was forced. It all happened through aligned energy and intentional action.
As our business evolved into MetaMind and the Soul Affiliate Alliance, the right people, opportunities, and clients kept showing up. Not because we chased them, but because we were already living the vibration of what we wanted to experience.
Mark:
And then came a full-circle moment I never expected: Just one week after my 55th birthday, I attended my first live Abraham-Hicks workshop right here in Orlando.
I ended up in the Hot Seat.
After nearly 30 years of listening to these teachings, I found myself face-to-face with Esther Hicks, receiving guidance from Abraham.
I asked about shifting from judgment into courageous curiosity and how to truly raise consciousness without sacrificing alignment.
The response I received touched something deep in me. It affirmed my path and reminded me that our light isn’t meant to fix the darkness, it’s meant to shine, period.
Renee:
Hearing about Mark’s experience was beautiful. It wasn’t just another event; it was a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much of it started with saying “yes” to alignment.
This life we’ve built, the work we get to do, the people we get to collaborate with, is the result of both vision and trust. And I’m still amazed at how the Law of Attraction has shaped it all.
Mark:
We’ve built a business around soulful leadership. But at the root, we’re still students of the Law of Attraction.
Here’s what we’ve come to believe:
It’s not about getting what you want. It’s about becoming the person who receives it with ease and gratitude.
It’s not about fixing the world. It’s about embodying a frequency that inspires and uplifts by simply being.
And it’s not about controlling outcomes, it’s about trusting the current of life and learning to steer with your vibration, not your fear.

Every step we’ve taken together, from chance meetings to conscious collaborations, has been guided by intention, energy, and trust.
